My name is Bo Mandoe. I am an author and woodworker and long-time supporter of all things natural, including the human lifestyle and our social interactions.
923 Publishing is my brainchild and the intersection of my passions for words and woodworking. Here you will find books I have written, published, or wrapped up as blind dates - sometimes in wooden display boxes.
Themes permeating my art include our connection to the natural world, debunking the myth of individualism, and the inevitability of technological shortcomings.
I’m a big fan of science fiction, no surprise, and many of my blind date curation choices fall on the speculative side. If that’s your jam too, we should gel quite well!
As for woodcraft, my materials are all salvaged or otherwise upcycled and the things I build tend to reflect natural themes as well. Look for some fun products to drop in my shop very soon!
